PCM Question

Hey Guys just curious I have an opportunity to pick up a pcm from a 95 caprice, obviously with the 4L60. Is this going to make a difference if I use it in my car which is a 95 camaro z28. I'm looking to do some tuning in the near future, and in case i do anything to my pcm, I am looking to have a spare.

That is a good question. I have a complete motor and wiring harness out of a 95 buick roadmaster. The PCM looks the same, the harness just has the sensors in different areas. It seems like the pcms would be interchangable, but who knows. Hopefully somebody does and will chime in and give us an answer.

The PCMS are interchangeable but you will have to add an extra knock sensor to your harness. The b-bodies have 2 knock sensors compared to the 1 on the F-bodies.
