Emissions Code Issue Hi everybody, I'm sure this has been posted before, but I've read through many forums about this and have found no solutions that has helped me. Im getting a Diag Code P0441, incorrect purge flow.
When ever I clear the code, it re appears at 50-100 miles or so, I need to pass smog fairly soon so I need to have this problem resolved . Ive replaced the vapor canister purge solenoid, and the valve, with no success. Ive also read that cleaning carbon residue inside the hoses connected to the emission systems is supposed to help, i did that and found no carbon build up inside the hoses. At this point, I am at a loss what to do, and I need to fix this ASAP, any matter of help in this would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. if anyone has successfully cleaned their emission hoses of carbon build up, and cleared the code. Please let me know what you exactly did, because I may have missed something when I did it.

As said above check to make sure the hoses are on correctly. If you can blow through the purge solenoid then it is stuck open. The vaccum switch is what tells the pcm that it is flowing. I attatched the hoses diagram for ya.

If you haven't looked at this yet, go over it and look for broken connections. There are at least 2 places where a rubber coupler is used on the plastic > metal connections. One is under the floorboard on the driver's side- it was rotten and loose on my red car. The other one you might want to see is on the forward side of the tank, visible near the upper left corner of the top illustration below:
You guys need to understand what the code is for. The description states that the pcm detected purge flow during a non purge condition, meaning that the pcm did not tell the purge solenoid to open yet it did. There can really only be two things that cause this. A stuck open purge solenoid or the purge vacuum switch.

Also, turns out one of the three tubes in the fuel line is starting to come apart, I can hear the air coming out of it so I sealed it up temporarily, do you guys know what the part number is? or where I can order it?
If it has air instead of fuel in it, it's the vapor return line. (ok I couldn't resist the smartass remark- sorry.

). Right- like 96TransAmboosted said, where is the break on the car? So you need rubber hose inside the corrugated sleeve itself? IIRC, that corrugated tube isn't split. If you unclip the 3 line bundle from the fenderwell and remove the clip you can probably slide the tube far enough both ways to do what you need to do...
