Default Tuning for 1.7 rockers

Other then the false knocks they might send out how much tuning will need to be done with the 1.7 rockers to get the most out of the car??

I'm currently running a little rich..i'm assuming that will change with my 1.7 RR install... cant wait to dyno tune

Yeah it will probably be the beginning of next month actually because I want to do a test with only the Drag radials then do the 1.7 rockers and see how much it helps.

im planning on doing 1.7 rockers and springs b4 the shootout in september also. im interested in the results. what springs and rockers are u going to use?

Scorpion rockers and still undecided on the spring guy on Ebay sells a set for lil over 100 bucks on ebay good for .600 lift I talked to him and said he has sold 800+ sets and not a single return.

yea i mean everyone is gonna have their complaints and disagreements about the rules. we are going to try and make them as fair as possible but it seems like everyone will have to sacrifice something in one way shape or form in the end.

either way it should be a hell of a time!

They keep debating on whats aloud and not aloud on the cars and to many people I have seen are building cars just for this class which takes away from the Street thing because people have money to throw together a bolt on car and make it run 11's

Mine went a little lean going from 1.6's to 1.7's, a small adjustment was needed.

anything go's exhaust imo...it really is a dumb fukn debate...some claim torq w/muff's some claim topend with out...WHO CARES! shouldnt be of consern IMO ..DD's ,no trailer queens,no power adders, DOT TIRES , bolt-ons including RR"S!!!!

I'm hoping my rich condition leans some from the swap

1.6 to 1.7 also the scorpions are a lot louder than my 1.6,s and I had to gut my valve covers to clear them and they still barely go on so bigger valve covers would make it easier , but all the trouble and $$$ wasnt worth 8rwhp not to mention the hardened pushrods also I had to buy
