I have an LT1 396 and i am thinking of going solid roller this time. what all do I need for this swap and who has the best price

 

"best prices" and "solid roller" should not be used is the same thought.
Really to do this right you should probably pull the heads and send them back to whomever ported them and have them set them up. Might even be looking at things like longer valves to handle more spring.

 

Is the solid roller setup worth the money. This will still be a street car but want to make sure i am in the 10's this time

A solid roller on the street takes careful planning and top notch parts.

 

You don't need a solid roller for 10s. The SR setup is more $ than the money you'd spend to get to 10s. Assuming you are close as is.
