Exclamation Losing Lots of Coolant

well my 94z took a dump on my yesterday. i droped my friend off at his house. as i left, the car stalled (i didnt stall it). i tried to restart with no sucess. i got out and poped the hood to see steam coming out of the radiator car and coolant leaking all over the place. i put more coolant in just to baby the car home. when i put the jug of coolant in, i noticed a slight leak from the passenger side of the engine compartment in front of the engine (almost by the battery). im thinking it is the cross over pipe form the rad. to the over flow tank. the pipe had a microscopic hole in it a few months ago and seaped very slightly. im thinking that because of the cold weather, the hole got bigger and blew out. i have an extra one and im gonna put it in next week. the only thing that puzzles me is that, how can that drain almost all of my radiator? any help of what you guys think the problem is would be greatly appreciated.

edit: is this helps the car is a 1994 z28 6 speed with 135,xxx miles.

it possibly could...fix it first because it sounds like you already solved your own problem...I had a small leak but it was coming from the drain plug on the bottom of the radiator, the o-ring was broken...it dripped here and there and took about 3-4 weeks to cause it to run low.
