52mm Throttle Body Help....

Default 52mm Throttle Body Help....

I purchased a 52mm summit racing brand throttle body looks like its really good quality, but the airfoil i had on my stock throttle body does not fit nor does the dress up plate i have....any suggestions about either problem?

Yes return the summit one and have a stock TB rebored. All the aftermarket TBs have some nagging issues particularly with the IAC circuit. Not worth dealing with those issues unless going to a 58mm. For a 52mm you are better off with a modified stock unit.

well the stock unit is in really bad shape and i did not want to deal with getting it reworked....is there any other options besides that?

You can buy a stock 48mm throttle body for like 25 bucks. There used to be a guy who sold the rebored stock TBs for around $200.

I have a 52mm and the air foil does not fit.. I payed about 250$ for it and is chrome.. Boring your stock 1 is okay but to just purchase a new 1 would b easier.
