Question, just got the car back from the body shop. Before I took it in the ABS light never came on or gave me any problems. However, now it will just blink every now and then. Anyone have any ideas what this could be. Thanks in advance!

 

The ABS system has it's own set of DTCs that you can have pulled when the light comes on.

What work was done in the body shop?

 

The rear quarter panel was fixed, front and rear bumpers removed and re-painted... Nothing major that I can think would have tripped the ABS system...

 

If the third brake light goes out, it will cause the ABS light to come on. I'm guessing your connection is loose which is causing it to blink. This would make sense too because chances are the body shop took your spoiler off to perform said work.

 

Helpful piece of info, they put on an SS spoiler with an LED third brake light... So it looks like I will be checking the connections on the wiring.. Thanks!

yep my brake light went out and my abs light would come off and on.drove me ******* crazy lol
