Default PCM Question

K, time for another stupid question. Figured I should probably ask this before I try installing it. Probably should have asked before I bought it, but the guy was parting out the car and pretty much giving parts away. Is there a difference between the PCM from a 93 Z28 and the PCM in a 94 TA? If so, does anybody need a pcm from a 93 Z28?

yes, definitely some differences. For one, 93 does not have MAF sensor so it has a completely different way of calibrating AFR by the PCM, speed density I believe they call it. The PCM connections will also be different, so it will not plug into the 94 engine harness, which means you'll need a 93 engine harness to use it. Also to modify the 93, I believe you have to pull the eprom out of the PCM to tune it instead of flashing like the 94-95, but I could be wrong on that.
