Default small problem

I completed a 6 speed swap a few months ago and everything worked great and still does, however i went on a cruise before the end of the year and while i was racing my friend, the tach would jump erractically (up and down) and my brake light would flash very quickly only once or twice, the engine would cut power then get right back in it. Any ideas ? while sitting still in neutral, if i free rev to 5 ish you can see the brake light flicker.

I vote voltage problem. My car was doing that when the battery went south, but could be the alternator as well. First check all the connections (battery and grounds) and if those check out look into the charging system.

x2 On a bad ground! Look over / clean all your connections up and see if it helps...
