When I disabled the EVAP system on my 93 it never threw a light but I just did it to my 95 and there is an SES light now. Does anyone know the resistor value to bypass this until my next tune? Thanks.
Anyone know the value? Or what I need to meaure to obtain the value?

I'm not a sensor debugging/disabling professional, but try measuring the resistance of the evap solenoid and see if an equal resistor will work for you.

Thats what I was thinking but I wasnt sure if it puts out different values at different times.Originally Posted by qc97z

Nope, a solenoid is simply just a coil of wire that is used to create an electromagnet force to move a something back and forth. The resistance of the solenoid's coil never changes.Originally Posted by moderate Z28
