Strange 12 or 9
Not sure what it would have gone with the same shortblock/SR combo. Speculation based only on the butt-o-meter, 124ish NA. But I cant be sure, it **** the bed 3 days before the ltxshootout 2010.
I can tell you this, 118mph w/4.30s & 27" tire was no where near 7k rpm.
I'm damn near done with my 392 ci shortblock, gonna use the same heads and have LE spec me a new SR cam. If I run out of gear with a 27" tire, I'll be damn impressed.
Right now, my car is sitting on ET Street bias plys, 27-10.50-15s. Can't tell you how well they work for sure, once again due to my shortblock shitting the bed, but once again the butt-o-meter says thumbs up.
Suspension is MWC chassis mount torque arm LCA relo brackets, UMI adjustable LCAs, UMI on-car adjustable PHR. Front is stock, but with sway bar removed and Strange SAs w/300lbs springs.

Here's a couple of vids from LTxshootout qualifiying 2009, back then my car was hyd roller, 20cfm less heads, and had the rear susp I mentioned above but did not have the Strange coil-overs w/300lb springs on the from yet. At the time it had monroe struts w/eibach sportlines on the front. Both vids are on brand new 295/45-17 MT ET drag radials mounted on 17x9 10-spoke SS wheels.
