strange question
strange question so i"m gunna be moving in july, probubly into an apartment, and need to downsize from 3 cars, to 1 car. I want to sell my full bolt on 1993 m6 ta, my 1995 jeep grand cherokee with the 5.2, and my supercharged 1997 regal gs. M y plan is to buy a good zr2 blazer with a 5 speed manual and swap in a 5.3. the manual trans in them is a nv3500 witch will be fine for the v8. Have any of you guys done this or know where i can get some good info? I know its pretty straight forward except for having to modify some fbody ls manifolds, modify the stock 4.3 mounts for the v8, and notch the oil pan for the passenger side axle tube. I really just want to make sure i get the right year blazer and 5.3 so they mate right because i know there are some differences between through the years. Also, i want to make sure i don't run into any major wiring and computer issues. I just want to be able to be fully prepared and get this done as quick and be as reliable as stock. I know it can be done right, and i am a mechanic so i will be able to comprehend the advise you guys can give, and yes i did search and search with not much luck. any advise is appreciated
sorry, I know its not the right place, I was asking where to go with the questions because im not very good with computers and cant seem to find anything useful. I kinda thought some of us had done this swap before or know someone who had and could point me in the right direction. I don't see the point in immature backhanded remarks on the internet where you cant even see the face of the person your being an *** to. I just want some help.
