Default exhaust cutout size and placement
just ordered a magnaflow exhaust for my car yesterday and have never really heard one in person but if its anything like my truck i know it will be fairly quiet, which if its like that inside the car im cool with it lol. however, i do want to put a cutout in it when i install it for the good times so where do most people put them and does anyone make a stainless one? also what size do i need3" or 3.5". thanks in advance

I had a QTP stainless manual cutout on my GMMG, you will need a 3 inch. I put mine right before the over the axle bend started

also a turn down bolted to the cut out is always a good idea.

as state above. this is my setup. 3" cutout. I prefer the DMH over the QTP for speed and compactness.
