Headers of 1.6 RR

My buddy has some extra cash and was looking for advise. Bang for the buck,
would you guys recommend 1.6 roller rockers or a set of lets say shorty headers.

do not get shorty headers, in the end you will wish you had long tubes. so save up a few more dollars and get a set of hooker or jet hot long tubes.

Depending on the smog laws where you live, I'd recommend at minimum a set of mid-lengths (AS&M). Long tubes are nice, but what a pita to install, and not legal in any state on our cars. Gains can be had with shorties, but obviously not as great as with long tubes. I'd say headers first over roller rockers at this point.
