Grind the steering knuckle or dent the headers, or a little of both. I assume it's the knuckle part that's rubbing. You just have to know where to grind and when to stop grinding or it could get a little dangerous.

I've heard guys talk about loosening the steering column bracket and shifting it outboard a hair to get clearance. Haven't had to do it on 2 sets of PS headers (72c2235, 72c2239) but I'd think a fraction of an inch wouldn't upset the aesthetics of column alignment in the bezel too much if you did it.

heat the spot its rubbing till its red hot and then ding it with a ball peen hammer..like i did...this way the metal stays strong in the process..dont go at it like a lumber jack or you'll have a hole...just enough for clearance..common problem dude...search & read before upgrades or mods and you'll always be ahead and ready
