Default How many are running LT's with cats??

How many of you guys are running Race LT headers with single or dual cats on them..I was planing on running pace setter emissions headers. But I think I might install my Hookers LT with a single cat on the Hooker Y pipe...Who has run this set up and how did it work out for you?

I have a y-pipe with cats and an ORY. Whenever I had to have a sniff test done (before current e-check regulations) I'd bolt up the catted y-pipe and took it off after the test was done.

the problem is with emissions testing the cats have to be in the stock location, making the long tubes a sure fail.

I don't have emissions where I live. But if there's one thing I wouldn't mind keeping it would be the cats...I already have the LT hookers...just need the Y..

They are Hooker Super Comps with no AIR/EGR fittings. I bought them right when they came out in 1997 before those options were offered.

I have to pass emissions, Go to a mom and pops shop. They wont look at where the cat is just as long as the sniffer passes

race headers with no cats. I may get some this spring though just to cut down on the noise.

Here in MI we dont have emissions testing so run what ya brung but sometimes excessive noise gets annoying.

Kooks LT's with emissions hookups and Kooks dual catted y-pipe here. Tucks up very nicely, driver side cat scrapes sometimes. I passed smog with them in CA. I also like how they keep my exhaust tone down at idle and cruising. WOT is a different story.

I know what you mean...but my car is competely stock for now. I've heard a lot of F-bodies here with out cats and catbacks..and they sound awful, sounds to farty for my taste. I like the nice mellow tone type.
