Default Single planes?

What are the pros/cons of a Vic Jr vs a SuperVic? And will a SuperVic fit under a WS6 hood with a low profile elbow?

Single plane should be ported if you're spending the money on the conversion. A supervic will kill a vic jr unless the setup isn't in need of a single plane swap. No idea on ws6 hood clearance...

no it wont clear a ws6 hood, you have to cut the cowl as it is to make it fit

Understand that the cowl would need to be cut for a Supervic. Ive seen the Vic E work with the Nitrous outlet elbow on Formula383s car under a WS6 hood. Im brainstorming for my next more focused build

I have a Vortec Supervic which is 5.63 in height (taller than SBC SV) and the elbow I built for it fits find. VERY LITTLE clearence but no modding needed.

Ill have to talk to LE when I get more in depth with the build. If he thinks I wont gain much by going with a SuperVic over a Vic Jr then I wont. Ill just buy a Vic E and have it ported/modified by him.

Not even sure Bauer does them all himself either, although some absolutely killer intakes have come from his shop.

Oh I believe ya, just throwing it out there that outsourcing is very common in the performance world. When looking for a machinist and calling around I found out that three different speed shops I called with three very different rates were all outsourcing machine work to the same guy ~45 minutes away from me. This guy does work for everything from high level drag racers, circle track cars, mudding trucks, and competition tow rigs. I went directly to him and got the same work for a killer price, just without the fancy storefront with signs and banners - just a big industrial building full of a bunch of huge crazy machines with no advertising at all on it .

Sorry to go slightly OT.

**edit** Holy **** 2k posts, and it only took me ~4 and a half years

Do Supervics need to be converted to EFI or do they come in an E series?
