Default CC306 or 503 Cam?

Ive read the sticky about cam/valve train selection guide and was just wanting some more input on your guys advice. I'm looking for a cam that will perform along with being choppy at idle. I have BBK Throttle body, 90 degree elbow, granatelli MAF, KN&N Cold Air Intake, Edelbrock Shorty headers(will look into longtubes), Magnaflow Exhaust, No cats, and a Shift kit (A4)

from what ive researched they will both have a choppy idle and perform well. cc503 would be more suitable for stock heads whereas the cc306 is not. Also the cc503 should not have to be revvd up to high whereas the cc306 would be revved higher. Lastly the cc306 should yield a higher peak hp whereas the cc503 should have a broader power curve which = more usable power for the street rather than the track.

For stock block applications I would run the CC503. A few more things are required to run the CC306 effectively.

both will perform similar (dyno numbers/track times) to one another but the cc503 will have better street manners and low end. I wouldn't recommend looking at either one until you get some long tubes on there though.
