both will be very loud. having heard both in person, there probably won't be much of a difference. and that was with the gmmg's have a bullet in the i-pipe to try to keep the rasp down

I haven't heard either in person, not many f-body's where I live. I heard a slp lm1 with stock manifolds and it wasn't too loud how would these compare? If I went gmmg I could go with cme tips which I already own but I still need a valance or I could sell the tips and save myself the green and run duals. Ugh too many choices.

i would say GMMG is the next best thing to Sweet Thunders.....i've heard both and i think the Sweet Thunder TD's put out a much better sound.....they're the only mufflers i will ever have on an LSx equipped vehicle....just my opinion......this video is just bolt ons with the stock 3:42's, crank the volume up....i was scared to really launch it with the DR's + 10 bolt

Ever consider powersticks? All will be about the same loudness but the sweet thunders and powersticks on duals tend to sound a little bit better than gmmg...most likely due to the y setup instead of true duals

^remember tho, powersticks aren't stainless. If you want chambered mufflers, and stainless, stainless works makes the mufflers very similar to the GMMG catback.

Ya I want stainless. How's the gmmg with cats? How does gmmg and longtubes compare with loudmouth and manifolds loudness wise

With cats it's not bad at all IMO, I'd say with long tubes, cats, and gmmg, you'd be close to, if not very far off from a Loudmouth setup in loudness. GMMG sound worlds better, tho

You could also try madhammer, they make GMMG's mufflers. You can buy the mufflers from them and fab up duals.

both will be loud with lt's and no cats, even more obnoxious with a cam. wouldn't recommend it if you daily the car. feeling like a cop magnet and an ******* everywhere you go gets old after a while.

I feel old sometimes, I've had damn near every kinda exhaust setup on the car and kinda outgrew the whole "be as F'ing loud as you can." nowadays I get jealous of people who can idle in traffic without getting dirty looks and pinched noses lol

honestly I still enjoy some noise but just when I want it to be loud not all the time, that's what cutouts and exhausts that only get real loud when go WOT are for

Ive been through the same thing lol. When I had my first car I wanted as loud as I could get.

Ive had

Stock with flowmaster
Flowmaster with gutted cat
Longtubes with spiral flows turned down
True duals with one chambers
True duals with spiral flows

Then my next car had Shorties and a flowmaster and I thought it was too loud and replaced it with a pypes race pro.

My favorite was probably the race pro. It had a nice rumble to it when cruising but want too loud, but still screamed at wot. Im about to put a Flowtech Afterburner on my trans am, hopefully it will sound good but not be too loud. Was only 65 bucks.
