misfire?

i recently did a 383 swap on my firebird its still a lt1 and i noticed at first it had a misfire with the normal opti so i switched to delteq and i also swaped out the sparkplugs cus they were running too cold. theres still a pretty bad misfire what could i check to fix this problem

Check your wires for a burnt one and make sure you don't have a cpl of them switched around

it was doing it when the wires were brand new does anyone know what the opti really does with the delteq system?

you need to find where the miss is... let your engine set overnight, start it up let it run for about 5 sec shut it off then go touch each header and you will know which one is not firing. from their you can look at the plug, check injector, compression, pushrods, rockers untill you find it. unless it's an odd issue.

the only thing that even makes sence would be a fuel injector im on my second set of plugs,went through two optis and now have delteq,two set of wires, and im on my second set of pushrods/rockers. unless its something in the computer
