Default 383 is finished up
Today I went to the engine builder and picked up my motor.
Motor is a:
383 with Eagle H beams, Eagle 4340 crank, and SRP pistons
LE custom grind 234/242 .579/.577 110LSA
Comp lifters
Stock heads with a mild port and polish with a 5 angle valve job
Patriot Gold Extreme valve spring kit
Howards 1.6 RR's NSA
ARP 7/16 rocker studs
guideplates
Melling oil pump
ARP head bolts and main bolts

Soon to come:
Speed Inc tune
SS3600
42lb injectors

I'll post pics Monday morning after I get better pictures. Hopefully the flexplate will be in by the end of the week so i can get in the car and get some video.

I am from Peoria, IL but am interning in Lyons, Illinois. The motor was done at NAC Engines in Chicago Ridge.

The internship is at Denker's Tune-O-Matic which is my uncle's independent repair shop. Its located on 47th Street just past 1st Avenue.

Yes stock valves but they flowed the heads and they flowed around 275 cfm on the intake which is pretty close to a LE2 head. The heads were flowed on a superflow flow bench.

Stock valves were flowing 275 intake? that would be more than a mild port in my opinion

I'm not saying that the reading is right but thats what i was told. We will see when it gets tuned a LE2 head with that same combination should be about 420-440whp from what i've seen. So if the heads flow whats claimed then i should produce similar power.
