3.8 lid

whats the diffrance between the 3.8 lid and the ls1 lid is the v6 lid has anyone on here put a v6 lid on there car

the v6 lid is off to the side a little more than the ls1 lid.

you could modify an ls1 lid to work on a 3.8 ive seen it done, but wouldnt recommend it. somewhere a long the line you will lose horsepower because the air flow wont be as smooth

No I was wondering if the v6 lid sits lower then the ls1 I am going to do a lid swap on my lt1and I don't want to cut up the car very much

Use any one of the many LS1 lids.

What kinda power gain am I looking at with ls lid swap

I gained 1.5 mph from k&n to the lid and everyone says every .1 is 10hp but highly doubt it added 15 HP
