Default kooks gaskets

Anyone ever use the kooks carbon composite header gaskets? My copper ones are leaking (big surprise) and since I'm in the market for replacements I figure why not? Any info before I order a set and guinea pig 'em?

I would stick with what is known to work... there's no need to have to re-do them when they end up leaking just because you wanted to try them. no real gain over anything else even if they do work.

Only difference is they're only $25 as opposed to $40+ for the aluminum ones. I had gotten the copper for under $20 so I'm really not complaining just more curious.

i agree on the price difference but $15 becomes alot less when ya end up ordering good ones anyways and taking the time to replace them. not saying the kooks are bad or anything i really have no idea. i have 7 pairs of new GM multi layer gaskets if your interested. i'm in canada though so shippings probly not worth it unless you wanted all 7 pairs.
