charging problem

charging problem ok i got a 95 formula when i start it up the atlternator gauge stay roughly around normal [sometimes a lil lower] but when i rev it up or get on it the alternator gauge stay on 17 volts until i come till a stop. i had my alternator tested n it is fine n i got a new battery.so if anyone can help with this problem ?

ok will that cause the problem? and im sure its needs replace i bought the car for 2 grand with 175000 but it runs pretty good so i just want to fix for now till i build a motor
