Default Chasing Head Bolt Holes

I am getting ready to chase the bolt holes in my engine block with an ARP thread chaser. Do I have to use any oil on the tool or in the bolt holes while performing this procedure?

Do I use oil on the chaser while cleaning out the bolt holes?

When I cleaned out and fixed a cross threaded bolt hold in my exhaust manifold I used motor oil. I was using a thread forming tap. I did NOT want to cut the threads so I did not use thread cutting oil. Worked out great for me.

I'd coat the threads with a bit of oil then on the chaser use some thick grease to catch any funk that comes off them.
