Cool upping my projects value

So i bought my 94 z28 for 2500, and i know that mods dont up the value of a nicer car, but my question is will it up the value of mine?

It's more of a resto mod type situation, the body is in bad shape, so i get it painted, the interior is in bad shape, so i switch out interiors(replace seats, carpet, dash, etc.), wheels sucked so i got c5 z06's. as well as tasteful upholstery work, is this going to make my car worthless if done correctly and tastefully(with attention to detail?

Marginally, but don't expect a return on your investment. The value of these cars has depreciated so much over the past few years. In the end it's still just a 94 Z28, unfortunately.

i know i know, but where i live muscle is still king, and a clean car is praised, whether it be LT1 or LS1, I don't plan on selling it, but this car may not even be 20 years old yet, but it is very much in need of a restoration.

My main question is resto-mod, or oem, i'm leaning towards mod, atleast it will be valuable to me

Make it like you want it. You will enjoy it more. It will be an extremely long time (if ever) that these cars will be worth something in stock trim.

yea, i just get sick of the whole "get an LS argument" also, its like saying a 69' corvette sucks just because its a 350 instead of a 427 tri-power, it gets annoying lol
