Default what software is good

id like to be able to monitor the stuff going on in my 95 like injector duty cycle, rpms, temp, timing etc but mainly injector duty cycle. where can i get a cable and basic software to monitor this?

www.akmcables.com for the cable. They used to be fairly expensive, nowadays not so much.

www.ttspowersystems.com for the software. Datamaster is arguably the best (free) program.

After using AKM Cables, ALDL Cable, and Moates I would recommend you go with Moates HANDS DOWN.

If you can find the old Datamaster 3.5.1. and if you run it on windows 7. It does something very VERY special

Datamaster gives you 20 test runs and then requires you to purchase. Version 3.5.1. that I mentioned earlier is older but has a bug that allows unlimited use if you use it with Windows 7.

It's free with the 20 tests, but just uninstall it then reinstall it and you're good.

has anyone bought their hardware from carputing.tripod.com? I orderd it like a week and a half ago and have yet to see it, my cable showed up and i bought that after buyin the harware, and my cars needs a tune bad!

ok i downloaded it and got a cable, do i open the program then plug cable in then start car? i read how to log it but i just wanna see what the inj duty cycle so do i have to log it or will it show it as i drive it?

It will show it in real time once you establish communication with the PCM.
