Exclamation Problem : Car Dies When Driving !!!

Well for some reason my engine is shutting off while I'm driving and it happens only when the car is heated up and under acceleration. I still have electricity in the car when the engine shuts off. So when I try to start the car again as soon as it happens it sounds like the engine is just about to turn over but it never does. But if I wait like 10 mins the car will start back up again. It's like the car needs to cool off before it starts again. I tested the battery and alternator and they are fine. I also just replaced my ICM ( ignition control module ) and its still dieing. When I bought my car about few years ago I changed the coil with a MSD Blaster Coil and changed the Opti as well. The plugs and wires are also not very old just changed them last summer. I'm thinking it's an electrical problem. The last time it died on me it threw a Code 22 which is TPS voltage low. I checked tps with my laptop and the voltage was where it should be. Could that have just been a fluke or something? If anyone has any idea what could be going on please let me know! Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

My car was doing the same thing, check the Opti wiring harness, if that doesn't fix it then check your alternator, when I replaced mine, it cleared the problem right up.

I had that problem once in a 94 T/A and after changing the opti it still happened, coil and ecm didn't fix it either, it ended up being a pink wire comeing from the ECM was grounding out against the body, fixed that and she never did it again.. IT was kinda cool though, ours would shoot some bad *** flames some times lol.

What's the best way to test your opti? Yeah I need to also check my fuel pump as well. It's just weird how it will die and then you wait a while and it will start back up again!

That kinda sounds more like the fuel pump, mine did that exactly.

Why would the fuel pump do that? Does it overheat?

mine was doing the same thing...ended up being a either a bad coolant sensor causing the ecm to read a temp of -40 degrees and dump fuel (according to the mechanic) or a short from a wire that was touching the headers....he didnt say which of the two caused the problem so i cant say for sure which of the two fixed it...all i know is he fixed those two issues and the problem went away

My pump would over heat and shut down till it cooled down is all i could figure, changed the pump and never had the issue again.

Well tested the fuel pressure and it seems like that is not the problem. Fuel pressure never went down and when I tried cracking it over the pressure was there. The code 22 came up again as well. Any idea?
