I'm having a little trouble identifying an AFPR that will fit my 93 Firehawk.
As I understand it, there are four designs for LT1s and the 93 is specific to that year.
I keep seeing parts listed as 93-97 though.
Problem is, I can't tell which ones really fit both (IE: have left and right mount brackets) and which are just typos.
Yes, I understand how the AFPR works
Yes, I have a specific application requiring more than stock FP
Yes, I plan on tuning for it
Although I have seen several setups (including Lethal's) and they do look awesome,
I don't really want to run an external AFPR with AN fittings unless I have to, the stock size lines are
more than enough for what I am doing. Then again, it would be nice to get them out of the way.
I can't tuck 93 lines the way you can 94-97 lines unless I hack them off and use flare or compression fittings.
For example.
My stock FPR looks like this; (tab on left)

I found this : http://www.fbodymotorsports.com/inc/sdetail/9464
But it basically means hacking up a stock FPR. I really don't like that idea.
I also found Accel PN 74565 that looks like it will fit, but it's backordered for a month.

The one I ordered, an Aeromotive 13106, was supposed to be the correct one for 1993 F-Bodys but I ended up having to make a bracket to keep it secure. What it came with wasn't even close to fitting.
I lost the pic of the bracket, but it wasn't pretty.

Personally, I say go AN fittings. While it would be nice to keep things simple, the best regulators are made for the High HP stuff, and they all run AN. That's just my opinion and I'm all about making it my own, even if it's something simple like the fuel system. I LOVE overkill!

Well, I found a Kirban Billet AFPR at a very good price and it is designed for a 93 Fbody.
A local shop was willing to do the AN fittings and had all the parts in stock, but I really can't justify it now.
I can put that money to better use
