Another Headers thread Hey guys i just bought myself a 96 z28 and im kind of a newbie so i was wondering if you guys could help me out.

im on a bit of a budget but i want some lt's and i was looking at these

has anyone tried them? and will i be able to have my neighborhood muffler shop make a y-pipe or should i buy one?

Plenty of people run them nothing wrong with them. My buddy bought a set and we made the y pipe and ended up looking pretty good. I do know it was cheaper for him to buy the pipe and we bend it rather than buying the y pipe made for the headers. So a good exhaust shop should be able to make one for you. Will be cheaper for a shop to make one I dont know.

I have personally installed 3 sets of LT1 pacesetters and 1 set of LS1 pacesetters and all fit great. As far as budget headers do I wouldn't look anywhere besides pacesetter. Which is odd because pacesetter gets a terrible rep around the tuner world.
