Default 94 LT1 with 98-02 front end, question on LS1 lid

Does it still require all the work for the radiator and leaning them back? Was there a difference in radiator support between the front end changeover? I would like it to be one of my first mods, but not sure how to proceed with the front end swap.

no, the 98+ front ends (hood) clears the lid naturally

I figured that, but what about the modifying to the radiator support? The lower base doesn't just bolt up on LT1 cars if im right?

You have to drill and tap for two bolt holes and either modify the lower base of the ls1 radiator support or flatten the core support for the base to sit flush like it was designed to be. The core support on the lt1 is raised were the ls1 core support is flat. Mine has this conversion so I speak from experience.
