Turbo 3.4 build
like everyone else has said, a 3.4l is a waste of time.
i've always wanted to do a 3.8l turbo build. turbo'ed my lt1 tho, lots of fun

But you'll soon find that you've spent a lot of money and still be a lot slower than you want to be.
Then again, I hear the same story when people mod LT1s vs converting to LSx.
If you're going to all the trouble of swapping engines, you'd might as well put a V8 in there.
The 3.4 and 3.8 are not direct swaps nor is it a simple process. LT1 and LS1 donor cars are generally easy to find and
will provide most (if not all) of the parts you will need. Better yet, there are build threads all over the
web that you can use as guides.

if you are on a tight budget, swaping a 3800 is a costly endever... 3400 gm can handle boost, you just have to be smart about it and stay away from knock, and lean conditions.
the 60degree has a bad wrap, but i think they are getting better
here is a audio clip of a stock 3400 in my cavalier with a m62 eaton@ 6psi
