Unhappy Oil leaking after doing IM Leak fix

Ok maybe some one can help me out here. I just did the Inatke Manifold leak fix on my 94 LT1 but still oil is leaking, I checked the IM bolts and there still tight.

So other day I cleaned the bottom of my engine to see if oil still leaked, well after i went for a drive and came back i looked under my car at the engine and noticed the oil came back!

So I looked harder and noticed oil on the bottom of my water pump and running down the complete front side of the engine.

Now I heard of this as also another LT1 problem and it ended up being the water pump drive gear seal going.

Has anyone else have this problem and fixed it? and was it the culprit?

Thanks

yep thats exactly what that is.. i just did a intake swap due to a leaking seal . got em swapped net day i was driving. parked the car got out looked at the timing cover. that thing was drippin oil profusely. tracked it down to a bad water pump gear drive seal.. so i went ahead and replaced the opti seal and the w/p drive seal.. ever since then its been bone dry..oh ya fix it asap. cause the leaking oil will find its way into the opti and kill it..

Yeah I think its a little late for the opti already though but anyways, whats the part numbers and name brand of the seals you used?
Thanks

Screw it completely and just get an electric water pump. My water pump gear drive/bearings/seals were so FUBARED that I can't believe the POS actually worked (although it leaked). Go electric, and it'll never be an issue again.

When you R&R the intake manifold did you give the sealant a 24 hour cure time? When I had my IM leak fixed I did not drive it for 24 hours to allow the sealant to cure correctly.
