Well after reading what ive read today i have decided ill pass on buying a $600 opti that seems to suck compared to the older ones. Where can i buy an ac delco opti, and are there any thing i can do to seal it up better and keep it from craping out.

I think you will have a hit n miss with everything made. I know of some, that went 100.000 miles + on a stock Opti with a heavily modified motor, Then like me, Purchased a GM Delco from the dealer and it wouldnt even start the car, Took it apart and the rotor was pressed in 180* out...

I was all gung-ho dynaspark but then I read

https://ls1tech.com/forums/lt1-lt4-m...ence-long.html

which jb442 already said.

I think I'll stick with a plain old opti. Wait to go true coil-per-cylinder, in our case I think its coil per two cylinders.

I feel weird quoting myself, but as an update to the above, the second Dynaspark he received was also DOA. He is going to try an get his money back. Draw your own conclusions, but it does not look good for Dynaspark customers nowadays.
