Default Melted o2 wires. Need to rewire them

I melted the connector for my o2 sensors to my header. I want to wire a new connector on and use a new o2 sensor.
But there are four wires and two are brown.

Does it matter if I get the brown wires mixed up. Now that I cut the connector off I dont know which one goes to positon D or C on the connector.

Technically, it shouldn't matter, but you can easily check the wires to see which is which. Using a meter, one will always have a ground (goes to "C") and the other will have 12v when the key is on (goes to "D").
