Default HVAC Delete Question

Pulling A/C and heat while doing head gaskets. Wondering what to do with heater line ports on WP. Can I simply block them off, or do I need to put some heater hose between the two outlets?

Also, how does the AC Box come out? From the engine bay or interior?? Can I cut it flush with firewall, or just unbolt everything from the engine bay?

Anything else important that I need to know other than the obvious?

All help is much appreciated!

yea just pull the fittings out of the water pump thread the holes and put in pipe plugs......its the easiest and cleanest way.......as for the ac box stuff i pulled mine from inside the car when i had my dash out.......it wasn't too bad to do.....other important things are make sure you plug the vacuum line from the motor to the hvac unit or you will end up with a vacuum leak.......

Thanks! Did you pull the Vacuum canister on the RH Frame rail as well??

Also, if I plug the lines, will coolant circulate as normal or do I need to pull thermostat?

Just did the hvac delete but Im having a miss at low rpms.is it ok to cap the orange vacume line going to the box under the dash? Also I capped the line coming from the engine harness and the port on the intake. The harness sat on the manifold and melted a vacume line in it but all wires seem fine.Is this the same line I capped? Here are a few pics.
