Found it. Loose polly lock. Must have missed it some how. reset it to 3/4 turn and quieted right up. Ran it with the valve covers off. not too messey. I did get it up to temp before I took them off so I could hear it with the covers off. They are still noisey but they are not tapping anymore. I'm gonna leave them at 3/4 turn since they seem a bit less noisey there then at 1/2.

 

Glad ya found it! It will sound like a sewing machine, the LT4 composite covers quiet them down alot, but they aren't cheap and they are getting harder to find.
