Misfire found. Finally.

Thanks to Warren (The Engineer), my high RPM misfire is no longer a mystery. A loose rotor screw was the culprit. Longer screws and loctite are in place. Just awaiting reassembly. I really want to thank Warren, as I have never done anything like this myself. Hopefully he will show his new setup at the next shootout. I heard it run. Pure

Glad you found your miss. My miss was from a faulty opti aswell. That sure is a purdyyy garage hes got there!

Yea. That's Warren's tube chasis car. Not really a cavalier except in shape.

how many miles were on your opti mine has 160,000 and i think i have the same problem. I plan on buying a new gmhp unit should I disassemble it and use some sort of special loctite on the rotor screws before i install?
