In order: search button fondling , read tech ****, grab sacks of money from source of your choice, buy tools look at more tech ****, buy parts , read tech ****, buy beer , grab more money from said source, install or have parts installed, do all bolt ons first, grab more money , dyno tune it read more tech **** jerk off in gas tank then go racing if you beat a Honda ... OP: think of your engine as a giant air pump, which it basically is, any thing you can do to increase the cfm flowing through that pump will increase its power. good places to start are a CAI or an LS1 LID swap, headers, exhaust. use the advanced search feature to search ONLY the LT1 section, things like basic mods, bolt ons, heads/cam etc etc and soak up as much info as you can.
