LT1/LS1 4L60E shifter cables... same?

It maybe, but I know the 97lt1 / 4l60e that got swapped in my 95 wound up having a 10mm ball on the shifter lever on the trans. So the cable might be the same but the end might be a bigger diameter that attaches to the trans. If need be I still have the shifter lever with the 10mm ball in my garage if it helps you.

It was fun trying to find a new lever for the trans, I got lucky after all the junk yards ,ebay and everywhere else I checked. Wound up getting one down the street from my house, a shop had a wrecked camaro and lucky for me had the right part. Dealer could have got it but I didnt want to spend the cash.
