help understanding how to build a motor

quick couple questions to everyone that i have been talking to, you might know the answer to. theres these three motors that are in my BF's storage on engine stands two of them say 572 Chevrolet on them , and the third one looks like the one that was in that black car in the first fast and the furious, and everytime i ask him about that motor he gives me a cold stare, i have asked his brother and dad about it and they just say its a dangerous engine and leave it at that. do you have any idea on what these motors are

ok, im new here but im on the other tech sites. uh yeah if you've got 572's then dam. thats nice.
as far as the motor that was in the charger in the fast and furious, its funny that your boyfriend would give you that dramatic response. XD
idk wtf it is exactly since i havent seen the pic but you wont be putting it in your car or working on it for a while.
Btw is your car red or blk? and did you drive through virginia beach today? i thought i might have seen you. i saw like 3 Z28s today and im usually the only one with a camaro out here...

there aint no troll here buddy just Kimberly being noisy like normal, i told you to join this forum so you can get the info you wanted. and now i get a phone call from james saying your asking about that stupid motor again. just get the resources you need and stop making your self look stupid. and you should know by now what the 572 is, uncle charles wont ever stop talking about the one engine he finished duh. if you need me i will be on nastyz28 for another hour or so and your dvds should be delivered here by friday afternoon if not saturday. come by tomorrow and get your book you left also

If the engines have "572" in cast raised letters on the valve covers then don't worry about them.
To answer another question about a chip.. unless your car is really a 1993 model computer and engine harness then a chip isnt a possibility. But along the lines of "chip.." if you change Anything about the engine than a mail order engine tune is somewhat going to be a miss (literally in some cases). Make the engine your own and let a tuner with a chassis dyno feed the powerplant what it wants.

Lynchburg is about 45 minutes from me. I'm in South Boston. I'd really like to check out the 987hp camaro of your boyfriend's. I know a lot of guys from that area. I'm surprised I haven't heard about it till now.
