Head Gaskets

I'm trying to get all my gaskets/seals/bearings together so I can assemble the motor and I'm wanting the .026 Victor Reinz head gaskets. My local engine parts warehouse says those are for iron heads and not recommended for aluminum heads.

Any truth to that?

Anyone have part number for the head gaskets or complete kit including the .026 that I should be looking for?

im running the victor reinz head gaskets with no problems. I cant remember the part number i got tho lol. If the 1 u got is for a lt1 then it dont matter if there for the iron heads. They will still work. I had a guy working at autozone try and tell me that ngk spark plugs are only for imports. lmao

I only run Delco plugs, but its autozone, they are the dumbest motherfukers alive when it comes to parts.
