I'm torn between cat-backs
Flowmasters drones too much and is too loud with headers. However it doesnt have the machine gun/ glasspack sound that straight through mufflers have in a y pipe setup.
I really like my flowtech muffler. Sounds a lot like a flomaster but doesn't drone as bad. I'm installing headers in a few weeks though so I'll see how it sounds after that.

I personally think magnaflow is the perfect exhaust. I love the one on mine. I have lt's, ory, to magnaflow. It is kinda mellow at idle but not dead quiet like some people think, you can tell it has exhaust. Driving around though its pretty loud and has amazing sound quality to me.
Flowmaster does sound good but I don't like the style of the sound it produces. I'd rather have the magnaflow.

I have had a Flowmaster, SLP LM and a Borla. The Loud mouth was my favorite when the car was just bolt ons with the stock cat, sounded really good. I never had it with Long tubes but I imagine it would have been really loud. The Flowmaster sounded decent, I always wanted a Borla so thats why I have it. I have seen magnaflows on a V6 Fcar, seemed like a nice exhaust system.

I like the magnaflow kit, its clean and sounds great...
Too many people talk crap about FLOWMASTER I have them and they are awesome........The crossflow version is no good for performance driving but you can't dis the entire selection for 1......

I dont even know if they make the cat back i have. I run PS LT with ORY and a Gorlich 3'' cat back. Ran a dyno max bullet it was nice. Then did a H/C swap and decided to run a MF buttet and i like it
