Default E-85 qestion

so what do you need to convert an 95 LT1 to E-85

i have a hi po 255lph fuel pump are there special injectors and tuning?

tuning /timing advance /larger injectors / i like to add fuel pump lube to the fuel/ pickle it for storage etc

Slight thread jack here but its relevant to the OP as well. Anyway, do our cars have any parts made of rubber, plastic, or metals that will corrode that come in contact with the fuel itself? If they do those components should technically be replaced as well because the fuel will eat them over time.

There's nothing in our fuel system that will pose a problem with E85. Supposedly non-anodized aluminum (fuel rails) will corrode, but I had E85 sitting in mine for over a year and they came out looking brand new.

It doesn't always want a timing advance either, but some tq can usually be gained if the starting tune is conservative.

E85 loves compression, before you build check out the availability of E85, here in Kansas I live 20 miles from an alcohol plant that produces Anhydrous alcohol ( that is 200 proof boys and almost no water). but I can only get E85 in the town that makes it. if you have a good supply, go for 14:1 or more have a blast. I did run some in my 327 running 12:1 some de gun, it was a trip until I R SMART yuc yuc yuc
