Confused, tiny gasket leak maybe?

Default Confused, tiny gasket leak maybe?

If i had a blown gasket, even a small blow. Would the engine still be running perfect? Keep in mind coolant had be going down constantly until now, maybe it was just air cycling out?

I had milky oil, and a puddle formed on top of my drained coolant, but maybe my pan was already contaminated somehow No white smoke, It did however back fire a few times today when i ran and drove it for the first time in a week. I just don't want to pay a shop to diag and fix this if it isn't necessary actually most of it would be warrantied besides the diag but still. Opinions????

yes.. I'm afraid so. My car ran like a champ even until the day i decided to pull the motor only to find one very clean piston #7. It started out with disappearing coolant and at first i thought it was the sensor then coolant started disappearing faster and faster, until one day i changed the oil and a nice stream of coolant came out before the oil.. I would (If I were you) start saving for a head gasket replacement and just drive the car until symptoms get worse ex. white smoke coming out, or excessive coolant loss, or milky *** oil.
btw with my blown head gasket i was chirping the tires into 3rd.. I have 315s on the back too.

My car ran perfect almost when the head gasket went out. It had a slight sputter at idle at times only. The way I found out it was the coolant would always get low and it wasn't leaking externally so there was only 1 other way for the coolant to go.

it'll be investigated in full tomorrow when I pull her off the road
There goes the headers pushed back another month

Are you going to just replace the head gaskets in car or are you going to pull the motor?

I would do a coolant pressure test and a leak-down test first. It also wouldn't hurt to pull the plugs one by one to see if any of them have been steam-cleaned.
