Wiring Question

Replaced intake manifold gasket for the typical leak and now temp gauge stopped working. I have a green one lead wire on the driver's side of the engine going nowhere. Looks like it was routed along the intake manifold and possibly down the side of the block. Anyone know where that is supposed to go and if it has anything to do with the temp gauge?

haha yeppppppppppp that goes to the coolant temp sensor between cyl 1 and 3 in the cylinder head.......sounds like you pulled it out of the connector..........fix it and it will work just fine
