Default New build under way.

Well my buget 355 slung a rod 2 weeks. So i have started on another 355. The 21* heads will be goin to LE in the next couple weeks. He will be doin a full port job, milling, and installin new valves. The new motor will have compstar 6in rods, cp bullet pistons, splayed main caps, hell fire rings and 12.1 compression. He will be portin the intake to match and openin it up for a mono blade tb. The new cam he spec'd is a 236/244 608/608 with 110lsa. I will be sprayin the setup with a 250 shot also.

This build sounds familiar Trav.... LOL go big and run that puppy on race gas, or corn if you can find it down there.

update: block went to the machine shop today. will be ordering the cp pistons and compstar rods my the end of the week

Sounds like a great build starting to take off. Post some pics of the progress! Seems like alot of the recent budget builds are not holding up to the abuse which is odd i think i see more stock shortblocks taking on more and taking it for awhile. Glad i didnt go cheap and did it right the first time.

that cam is close to mine, 238/246 .600/.600 112lsa.with ported stock heads and a single plane it went 10.24 @ 130 on a 100 shot

look liked head gasket popped and hydro lock the motor. Number 7 rod was in pieces. They was anitfreeze ontop couple pistons.

Dang thats rolling out. I hopin for 9s on 200 shot. Went times in sig with out of the box heads, smaller cam, and 75 shot

oh and it cut a 1.40 foot braking it on the 100 shot too so it should be interesting. yours will roll with those heads on it once theyre ported too. mine is a 383 and im spinning to like 6500 on the bottle btw
