LT1/LT4? and Heads? Hello all,
How do you know whether the motor is a LT1 or LT4?
This guy said he will sale me one that came out of a Corvette w/wire harness.
Also I read on one of the threads that some came with Iron heads and some with Aluminum Heads?
What kind of heads fit LT1s and LT4s? Will Vortecs fit?

cast iron heads were impala's and caprice's. Easiest way to identify the LT4 is the red intake but some people do paint their LT1 intakes red for the look. Pull the valve covers and look for the 1.6 RR's if the motor is outta the car already.
