since everything is buried on this 96ss camaro I thought I might ask if there is something I should chase first ie line, solenoid etc
Just hate to tear everything out of the way only to find it was something simple and very acessible

I had/have the same code. Replaced the egr for the heck of it, code went away for a few hours For my situation the giant exhaust leak isn't helping or the cracked intake assembly (getting replaced tuesday) i'm hoping thats why its throwing the code. Just for kicks check your intake elbow for cracks. Also like you said might be something simple check to make sure everything is hooked up. The solenoid is alot easier to replace than the egr so.
