Default another cam thread

ok guys, i have read the sticky several times over the years...
but im in the middle of my build and need a suggestion on a cam. its a 355 with forged pistons and stock but ported heads and intake. im stuck between the cc503 and the 306 cams. i do plan on nitrous but only 75-100 shot and not very often. its a daily driver so i do want some street manors. any help?

Both of those companies make cams similar to the 503 and 306 but they perform a lot better

i agree custom cams are better, however im trying to stay easy on the wallet. i like the sound of both cams and both will help on performance.

Even with one of those cams you will need all of the supporting mods like new valve springs, roller rockers, and pushrods

I have a lloyd 226/234 cam so its in between the 2 cams you have listed, great idle quality, sound is amazing and great for a daily driver. If you can make it down to wichita this week the car is getting tuned and you can check it out to help with your choice.

btw there is a video clip in my sig for an idea

go with the cc503 cam. its proven and you know it will do the job. that thing should be pretty nasty with some juice.

lt4 hotcam is nice for street cars to but id still go with the cc503

My build is like yours, I was going back and forth between the two cams. When I ordered my heads from LE he said to run his 236/244 so that’s what I got. Thunder Racing as a cam in the middle of the two if you cant pick.

what valvetrain components are you currently working with? Springs? Pushrods? Retainers? Valves?

what's your budget for cam and the valvespring hardware? what pushrods do you have? I can do a custom cam for ya but need the full details of your engine/car setup.
